Cycling trip along the Kettle Valley Railway

This is a deluxe cycling trip along the historic Kettle Valley Railway. Located in the south central region of British Columbia, you will bike the rail bed of the once productive Kettle Valley Railway. Bike through tunnels, cross over bridges and be treated to magnificent scenery. Cycle along cascading rivers, tranquil lakes and through pristine valleys and canyons delightfully decorated with farms, orchards and vineyards. You will have the opportunity to encounter a vast array of birds and wildlife, while enjoying some of the best mountain biking trails in Canada. With rails and ties removed, a grade less than 3% is ideal for the novice to advanced rider.

You will explore some of the regions historical attributes such as Beaverdell. Other stops include McCulloch Lake, Chute Lake, Oliver, Chain Lake, Princeton and Penticton. The tour includes a visit to local wine vineyards.

Suggested Items: Camera, daypack, sunglasses, sunscreen.
Suggested Clothing: Jacket, shorts, t-shirt, sneakers, long pants.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Restrictions: Minimum group size 6 for guided tour. Minimum group size of 4 for unguided tours.
Maximum Number of People: 9
Equipment Provided: Support van, bike rental and helmets, airport pick up, tour fees.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in Kelowna, BC. Airport transfers are included.
Accommodations: Accommodations are in quality lodges and resorts along the route.
Meal Information: Full meals included ranging in style from home cooking to pubs to restaurants.
Guide Information: Your guides are experienced riders and very knowledgeable of the area.
Weather Information: Summer temperatures average between 20 and 33 degrees Celsius.
