Extend your holiday and take a trip to the coast of British Columbia or to the wilds of northern Canada. The possibilities are almost endless and there is always a new place to discover just around the next bend.

Campgrounds are numerous across Canada and offer full hook-ups and facilities. There are RV rentals available for all budgets, group sizes and lifestyles.

Motorhome & RV rentals in the Canadian Rockies

Season: year round
Requirements: Preparation fee, $55 (mandatory), is required for all rentals. This includes filling all fluids, propane, holding tank chemicals, cleaning and inspection. Sleeping bag, pillow, towels and linen are not included. A convenience package of these items is available for $50 per person. Don't forget your driver's license and groceries.
Suggested Items: Camera, binoculars, fishing gear, fishing license, daypack, sunglasses and sunscreen.
Suggested Clothing: Rain gear, warm clothing to suit a variety of weather conditions, boots, hat, shorts and bathing suit.
Difficulty: Easy
Restrictions: All driver's must be at least 21 years of age. Northern surcharges apply for travel on the Alaska Highway, Cassier Highway, the Yukon and Northwest Territories.
Equipment Provided: Included in rental is public liability insurance with $3000 collision deductible; 100 free km per day. Extra km plans are available. Each RV is equipped with kitchen and eating utensils as well as camping and living items.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in Calgary, Alberta. Rentals are also available out of Vancouver, Whitehorse, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax.
Accommodations: On board your RV or camper, usually in serviced campgrounds. All units have air conditioning, water tank, hot water, shower, furnace, flushing toilet, refrigerator, microwave and /or oven, stove and coffee maker. Campground fees range from $10-20.
Weather Information: Summer temperatures average between 15 and 25 degrees celsius.
Comments: Extra rental fees for one-way rentals apply.
