There is plenty to do for the non-angler too. The waters and inter-tidal zones around the lodge are teeming with wildlife. You will find Dungeness crab, salmon fry, schools of squid and pods of orca. The abundance and diversity of the marine life will amaze you. For the avid hiker, you can explore the ancient forests of Haida Gwaii, known as the Canadian Galapagos. Lush meadows are surrounded by towering spruce, hemlock and cedar cloaked in mosses. The forests are home to eagles, raven, martens and the world's largest black bears.
