ABOUT THIS REGION  MULTI ACTIVITY TRIPS - WINTER

Multi-activity winter adventure in Algonquin Park

This exciting multi-activity 'mini' vacation is a great way to discover the forests of Algonquin Provincial Park the way the Indians knew it. This multi-activity package is also an excellent introduction to several winter sports. On arrival day you will experience the thrill of a half day of dogsledding, complete with instruction. The second day you will head out onto the groomed trails on your skis and explore this winter wonderland. The last day has you blazing your own trail as you snowshoe through the forests. The highlight of this trip is a visit to a private forest where you can view wolves from the safety of an observation room. In the evenings you will return to a comfortable motel or rustic lodge and enjoy a delicious meal.

Multi-activity winter adventure in Algonquin Park

Only 3 hours north of Toronto, Algonquin Provincial Park is Ontario's oldest park and one of the largest in Canada. It boasts over 7600 square kilometers, with over 2000 fresh water lakes. Within its borders can be found deer, moose, beaver, wolves, bears and many other wild animals, all in their natural habitats. This park is so large and so varied that one end of the park can have entirely different weather from the other end! This park is the perfect location for your next winter adventure.
