ABOUT THIS REGION  SNOWMOBILING

Snowmobiling safari around Algonquin Park

This is the ultimate snowmobiling adventure - a 1000 kilometre snowmobiling expedition through spectacular wild forests and frozen landscapes of Algonquin Provincial Park. Ontario has the largest, and possibly the best, snowmobile trail system in the world, and you will be taking full advantage of it on this trip. You will explore the extensive network of wilderness trails and logging roads as you voyage through and around Algonquin Park. The path will lead you along trails that cut through thick, untamed forests, zoom down a 30 m wide 'right of way' and take you to quaint country villages. Along the way you will stop at spectacular vantage points and scenic lookouts.

Snowmobiling safari around Algonquin Park

Only 3 hours north of Toronto, Algonquin Provincial Park is Ontario's oldest park and one of the largest in Canada. It boasts over 7600 square kilometers, with over 2000 fresh water lakes. Within its borders can be found deer, moose, beaver, wolves, bears and many other wild animals, all in their natural habitats. This park is so large and so varied that one end of the park can have entirely different weather from the other end! This park is the perfect location for your next winter adventure.
