ABOUT THIS REGION  SALTWATER FISHING - LODGES

Unlimited ocean fishing in the Queen Charlottes

The area around the Queen Charlotte Islands, off of British Columbia's northwest coast, is something of a legend amongst sports fishers all over the world. They gather in search of the trophy size king/chinook salmon that weigh in at up to 75 pounds. Aboard the 136' M.V. Marabell, you will have a floating resort as your fishing headquarters and a team of professionals to ensure that you have everything you need to land the salmon that abound in these waters. The Marabell is anchored in the mystical Queen Charlotte Islands, at Langara until early July, then it relocates to Hakai Pass. Hakai Pass is a favourite feeding ground of many species of fish, including coho and king salmon.

This trip is proof that you need not rough it when stalking that trophy fish you have been searching for. Fine meals are provided by onboard chefs, and the Fisherman's lounge provides a cozy setting to share the day's experiences and offer tips for new arrivals. At the end of the day you will return to a comfortable stateroom for a good night's sleep in anticipation of another great day of fishing.
