Horseback riding day rides through Nova Scotia

Located on one of the highest points in mainland Nova Scotia, this horseback riding opportunity offers views of the Bay of Fundy and the local scenic landscape. You will ride along well groomed, scenic trails suitable for beginners to experts. Your guides will pace the ride accordingly, ensuring everyone has a safe and memorable ride.

Non riders are welcome to spend some time at the stables, visiting the horses, swimming in the pool or playing some tennis. Large groups are welcome and the facility is perfect for throwing a BBQ or western party.

Season: year round
Suggested Items: Camera, daypack, water bottle, sunglasses, sunscreen.
Suggested Clothing: Warm jacket, long pants, hat, riding or hiking boots, sneakers.
Difficulty: Easy/Intermediate
Restrictions: Riders must be 8 years of age or older. Pony rides available for younger children.
Maximum Number of People: 100
Equipment Provided: Riding equipment. Western or English saddles available.
Transportation: Trips originate and end in Ellershouse, Nova Scotia, about 60 km north of Halifax. Transportation arrangements available.
Accommodations: Not included in the price but available at local bed & breakfasts and hotels. The stables offer use of the BBQ, pool, tennis court in the summer.
Guide Information: Guide is included.
Weather Information: Summer temperatures average between 15 and 25 degrees celsius.
Comments: Rides are approximately 2 hours long. Non riders are welcome and are offered use of the pool, tennis courts and BBQ for a $5 cover charge.
