The cycling on this trip is manageable but challenging. Mountain bikes are strongly suggested for the off-road exploration. With its exceptional cuisine and awe-inspiring scenery, this five day loop is a perennial favourite.

| Requirements: Bikes (hybrid or mountain style) and equipment. Rentals are available for $125 per person and include a rear rack, luggage bag, toeclips, waterbottle, repair kit, pump, spare inner tube and helmet. Rentals are also available for tandem, and racing bikes. |
| Suggested Items: Daypack, water bottle, camera, binoculars, sunglasses, sunscreen. |
| Suggested Clothing: Clothing to suit a variety of weather conditions. Rain gear, wind breaker, long pants, hat, hiking boots, sneakers, bathing suit, towel. |

| Restrictions: 50 to 80 km/day with optional extra km each day. A rolling ride with two big climbs on day three. |
